ServiceNow Administrator

ICF’s IT Modernization division is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Administrator to join our growing ServiceNow practice. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the ServiceNow Platform and must be able to act with a sense of urgency and adapt to changing priorities.

Based on your experiences and interests, we may ask you as a technology professional to support growth-related activities, including (but not limited to) RFI, RFP, prototypes, and oral presentations. Team members are also expected to uphold and maintain appropriate certifications necessary for their practice expertise.  

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with ServiceNow functional team to build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes from the customer to the fulfillment teams.

• Develop, configure and improve core and custom applications.

• Create Active Directory computer and user accounts.

• Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow.

• Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each.

• Create and configure Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow.

• Load, manipulate and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems.

• Documents, tracks and monitors all problems and requests to ensure a timely resolution.

Required Skills:

• 1 or more years of experience in performing day-to-day ServiceNow Administration tasks and activities for platform product/services operations delivering ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM capabilities (including configuration)

• 6 months or more experience in rapidly troubleshooting and resolving Tier 2 level production support issues for ServiceNow products.

• 6 or more months participating with high involvement in team meetings and processes related to problem solving, creating and configuring business roles, UI policies, UI Actions and similar.

• US Citizenship required (required by federal government for this position).

• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

• MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.

Desired Skills:

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Technology or similar STEM.

• ServiceNow system administrator certification.

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.
