Licensed Practical Nurse (55986)

Pay Range:  from $31.25 - $42 per hour, depending on experience 

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.  We are currently seeking full-time Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team at Maryland Correctional Institution Hagerstown located in Hagerstown, Maryland. 

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

•    High school diploma or GED equivalent required 
•    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required 
•    Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) 
•    Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shifts: Evening   5- 8-hour shifts; every other weekend
