Insight seeks a dynamic Sr Mgr. Partner Management who can develop innovative go-to-market programs to meet profitability and growth targets for the Data Protection Market. You will have deep category expertise, with experience in developing and implementing business plans and marketing initiatives. We seek a strong communicator with proven leadership skills in managing remote teams and the ability to multitask with flexibility, along with experience working with top-tier vendor communities. Key Responsibilities
- Excellent ability to create and implement major product category and partner strategies.
- Ability to publish and measure sales and margin targets for each category and subcategory in support of overall company objectives.
- Expertise in developing resident category expertise that includes product knowledge, product demand, pricing direction, vendor direction, roadmaps, hot solutions, and price points, bundling opportunities, funding programs, and the competitive landscape.
- Experience in developing and implementing business plans, marketing plans, sales strategies, and action plans.
- Proven track record of working closely with the vendor community and the sales force to create highly demanded product and service offers, bundles, and solutions for our target markets.
- Experience developing strategic investment proposals with key partners including driving Funded Head Count, Rebates, and overall margin enhancement.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to directly manage teams of 10+ individuals.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to all constituencies and levels in written and verbal formats.
- Must be results-driven, numbers-oriented, and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks of varying difficulty and complexity.
- Must represent Insight at vendor conferences, tradeshows, and client and partner events
- Must be knowledgeable of the data protecion IT manufacturer base and be familiar with data protection IT market dynamics as well as partner marketing programs.
- Ability to manage remote locations and handle some travel requirements.
What you’ll need to succeed
- A Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university, MBA preferred, or combination of education and experience.
- 8 years of experience in product merchandising or marketing, 3 years in management, preferably in the IT industry, with a medium to large organization.
- Must have the ability to directly impact sales, margins, and manufacturer relationships.
- Must interface with multiple levels of management within Insight, manufacturer partners, and customers.
- Must be a team player with the ability to manage remote teams effectively.
