We are seeking a professional like you to provide support to the WEPC Engineering Plastics operation in Wyandotte, MI. In this role as a Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for managing our raw material supply to ensure our supply chain is optimized to support our plant’s production plan and inventory targets.
As a Supply Chain Planner, you create chemistry by...
- Managing portfolio of critical, large volume raw materials to support forecasted demand along with unexpected demand while also considering the needs of the plant.
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels in alignment with business goals.
- Collaborating with Finite Scheduling, Product Management and Operations on production delays and/or raw materials constraints that may impact the ability to supply customer demand.
- Proactively monitoring critical shipments while communicating/aligning with key stakeholders when needed.
- Leading monthly inventory cycle count process to ensure the accuracy of our inventory records.
- Coordinating internal transfer movements of raw materials to support our production schedule.

- Possess strong organizational skills will be essential and ability to communicate effectively
- Are detailed oriented and have working knowledge of SAP platform, Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of planning tools and processes
- Are an analytical thinker.
- Have leadership skills and the ability to work as a cross-functional team member.
- Have knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or a related field
