Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing (Procurement)

You will lead the Strategic Sourcing function positioning our organization as a trusted partner to our internal clients to increase spend under management, standardize and improve processes, and implement strategic sourcing strategies that deliver tangible value to the business. You will oversee a team of Sourcing Managers responsible for over $400M in annual spend across all indirect categories including IT, Engineering and Products, Marketing, Sales, Corporate Services (e.g., Facilities, Real Estate, Construction, Professional Services, Contingent Labor, Benefits). Partnering and working with Legal, IT, Security, Privacy, Compliance, and other company partners, you will make recommendations on programs to reduce supplier costs, project manage contract development and approval processes. You will report to the Sr. Director, Procurement.
The impact you will have:
- Lead transformational activities to build and mature the Strategic Sourcing organizational capabilities and improve procurement efficiency.
- Manage a team of Sourcing Managers to increase spend under management, deliver cost savings, and lead process efficiencies
- Prepare Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), evaluation of responses.
- Lead evaluation, selection, development, and retention of the suppliers providing goods and services needed to conduct business.
- Use current spend information and knowledge to identify potential cost reduction plans
- Improve supplier performance against negotiated service level agreements and quality metrics.
What we look for:
- 7+ years leading strategic sourcing teams for indirect categories of spend
- Partner with suppliers, and internal business customers, and senior management.
- Experience delivering price optimization and cost savings.
- Experience managing global procurement responsibilities, using a strategic sourcing methodology, including opportunity analysis and identification, supplier selection, risk and compliance evaluation, contract negotiation, and financial analysis.
- Develop strategic sourcing plans and dive deep in contract details with an understanding of how contracts are structured.
- Experience managing executive-level strategic supplier relationships
- Experience with systems such as NetSuite and Coupa.
