About the role
Position Summary
Manage academic and administrative operations for the Tisch School of Arts (TSOA) Master of Professional Studies Program in Virtual Production to ensure achievement of academic, artistic, and programmatic goals. Develop and deliver student services. Manage special projects, including departmental-wide initiatives. Serve as spokesperson, creating presentations and responding to sensitive and confidential inquiries and issuues.Qualifications
Required Education:Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education:Bachelor's Degree Arts Administration Required Experience:3+ years experience in academic administration or a related area, or an equivalent combination. Preferred Experience:3+ years Previous experience in academic and/or performing or cinematic arts, or emerging media environment Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with distinguished visitors, faculty, and students. Proven ability to direct and implement a variety of operations and activities, to communicate policies and procedures to individuals at all levels and use problem solving and negotiating skills. Knowledge of standard office software including PowerPoint and online and traditional information databases. Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Understanding of integration of various disciplines in curriculum delivery; familiarity with production issues and timelinesAdditional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $64,800.00 to USD $79,200.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
