Here you join our exciting project world, where we all have professional pride, and we strive for quality in all deliveries, meeting all deadlines and supplying a high level of service.<p></p><p><b>Responsibilities / Tasks</b></p><p>As a Senior Transport Manager at GEA, you will be responsible for contributing your professional project expertise across all types of transport and logistics tasks. This includes providing input for sales offers and contracts, handling letters of credit and Incoterms, planning the supply chain, and executing project processes.</p><p>More specifically, you will:</p><ul><li>Ensure timely shipment of components, and manage transport arrangements efficiently, including procurement, shipping documentation, and coordination with suppliers and forwarding agents to optimize cost-effective transport solutions</li><li>Monitor project logistics and provide reports</li><li>Handle any transport-related issues, including damage claims and troubleshooting</li><li>Conduct weekly reports to Project Manager with following up on all logistics costs (budget vs actual), on-track, delivery, troubleshooting, evaluation</li><li>Be pro-active during project execution and participate in status meetings, kick-off meetings etc.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your Profile / Qualifications</b></p><p>You thrive in a dynamic environment and keep a cool head, even when the pace is high, and the tasks are plenty. With a structured approach and a natural sense of overview, you handle multiple tasks simultaneously without losing focus. At the same time, you are a bit of an IT wizard who prefers digital solutions and works efficiently with systems and processes.
