Technical Product owner (Hapi project)

Description

 Hapi (Data Travel, LLC) is a company which specializes in data integration for hospitality companies and their technology partners. 
We are looking for a technical Product Owner who will work closely with our Business and Development teams to mainly design integrations between our partners and our platform. 
This person would translate product strategy into a detailed and prioritized backlog of user stories. The Product Owner manages execution and delivery of value for product features. 
They are responsible for defining and maintaining the delivery roadmap and will collaborate with various team leads. 

Key Responsibilities

Sprint planning & aligning with our quarterly roadmaps  Prioritize backlog items 
Use agile methodologies and facilitate team ceremonies Research and interpret business and user requirements, as well as third party API specifications and documentation 
Write technical user stories defining non-functional requirements in collaboration with team lead and architects 
Create and maintain documentation of precise requirements 
Generate user stories with clearly articulated User Acceptance Criteria based on requirements 
Execute User Acceptance Testing according to defined User Acceptance Criteria, detect and document related defects 
Create documentation for support and implementation teams 
Measure and report of the success of the product line 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

You are familiar with software integrations technologies and methodologies, including REST, SOAP, Webhooks, OpenAPI Specs, and Authentication protocols 
You already have several years of experience as a product owner in the environment of an agile organization 
You know how to use the advantage of cloud platforms and technical architectures 
You enjoy communicating to all levels of the organization, speaking the truth even when it's inconvenient. 
You have an agile mindset as well as the ability to analyze and structure complex topics 
You are experienced with JIRA/Confluence 
You enjoy working in as part of a fully remote and international team 

Significant plus: 
You are familiar with hotel IT systems such as PMS, CRS, CRM, and/or Revenue Management
