(Senior) Category Buyer for End-User Equipment

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The SAP Global Procurement Organization (GPO) is continuously transforming and evolving into an agile and strategic procurement organization. Optimal collaboration and partnership with all relevant stakeholders as part of the entire ecosystem will be imperative to meet SAP’s ambitious growth plans and support SAP’s strategy. In this regard, GPO is looking for new team members to support its transformation. We are looking for a motivated resource to compliment the End-User Equipment Category as a Category Buyer.

What will you do
 

• Your category includes the procurement and support of different types of End-User Hardware and related Services.
• You will support the Category Manager in the category management (including Reporting, Savings etc.).
• You will support and execute the strategy for SAP’s End User Hardware Procurement.
• You will further be working on supplier management and sourcing projects in close alignment with the Stakeholders, sourcing excellence team.
• You will look for opportunities to support improvements, innovations, and savings and perform market analysis and benchmarking to gain market intelligence.
• You will conduct due diligence for catalogue updates to ensure data quality.
   

What you bring
 

• We are looking for highly motivated people who are eager to learn new things, who can establish clear priorities, and manage multiple demands in a virtual, international environment.
• Since teamwork is key at SAP, we are looking for a team player with strong focus in collaboration and communication and a talent to coordinate a team.
• 3+ years of procurement experience within a multinational business, with a background in End-user Equipment or other procurement categories is beneficial.
• Fluency in English is required (German or any other language is a plus).
   

Meet your team

The IT Hardware & Security Team is part of the Global Procurement Organization. It defines and executes in close collaboration with business owners, corporate legal, finance and controlling the global sourcing strategies and supplier management. Within your daily tasks you will work closely with the Category Manager for End-user Equipment as well as the other members of the IT Hardware & Security team located in Prague. You can expect a highly motivated, young and dynamic team with focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
