Are you happiest when you’re on the floor, working directly with store teams to create stunning floral displays? We’re seeking a hands-on Floral Category Manager who thrives on being in our stores, coaching teams, and bringing creative visions to life. This role spends much of its time traveling between our 24 stores across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana, working shoulder-to-shoulder with our floral departments to elevate their offerings and operations.

As our Floral Category Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the success and growth of our floral departments across all locations. Here's how you'll make an impact:
- Store Success: You'll spend most of your time in our stores, working directly with floral teams to improve operations, share best practices, and ensure consistent excellence across all locations.
- Team Development: Through hands-on training and mentorship, you'll help our floral managers, and their teams develop their skills, growing both their creative abilities and business acumen.
- Department Growth: Your expertise will directly influence our floral departments' performance, from sales growth to profit margins, while maintaining our commitment to quality and value.
- Customer Experience: Your creative vision and operational standards will ensure our customers find beautiful, fresh floral options for every occasion, from daily arrangements to special celebrations.

What You’ll Do
As our Floral Category Manager, your week will be split between our stores, working hands-on with our teams to create exceptional floral departments as well as managing assortment, ads, and pricing while in the office. Here's what that looks like:
In Our Stores
- Coach and train floral teams on design techniques, seasonal trends, and best practices.
- Create eye-catching displays and visual merchandising standards that inspire customers.
- Work side-by-side with department managers to optimize operations and drive sales.
- Ensure consistent quality and freshness standards across all locations.
Category Leadership
- Develop seasonal programs and promotions that excite customers and drive sales.
- Build strong partnerships with suppliers to secure the best products at competitive prices.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement markdown strategies to minimize shrink.
- Track department performance and adjust strategies to meet sales and profit goals.
Team Development
- Provide ongoing mentorship to help floral managers grow their skills and departments.
- Lead training sessions on new products, techniques, and operational procedures.
- Share industry trends and insights to keep our offerings fresh and relevant.
- Guide teams through peak seasons and special events to maximize opportunities.
