Summary
The role of the Finance Project Manager is essentially to enable and follow up on various projects in Operations and Business Services, at the moment mainly related to SAP optimization to unleash STG’s potential to achieve the company goals. You will be a part of the Finance Business Partnering Global Operations team, where you’ll be involved in close collaboration with various stakeholders to drive and oversee projects, coordinate efforts across different departments, manage resources efficiently, and leverage your financial expertise to enhance the overall performance of the company. You will work with an amazing small team of experts and will report to the FBP Reporting and Planning, Cost Accounting MRC/ST, Finance, HR, and Strategy.

 

What you can expect as a Finance Project Manager?

Your primary tasks will include the following:
•    Conduct analysis and optimize processes in the SAP system for efficient project execution
•    Step in as project manager when necessary to ensure progress on milestones and deliverables
•    Re-design the Costing department aligned with the needs of STG according to the processes and tools and keeping in mind the Costing principles policy 
•    Design and coordinate an effective Costing Cycle process 2-4 times/year to ensure accurate standard COGS as the basis for better Margin analysis as the basis for value creation within STG
•    Drive projects in Global Operations and Business Services, acting as a Finance Business Partner (FBP).
•    Contribute to the Global Operations team, focusing on procurement, product development, and technology projects.
•    Support SAP implementation projects in various areas, including software warehouse scaling and transition

 

To succeed in this role, one must demonstrate an enhanced capability to drive, execute, and provide financial support for projects through effective cross-functional collaboration with various teams.

 

Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter most for this role):
•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Business Administration, or another relevant field
•    At least 5 years of experience in projects, ensuring efficient integration for business optimization
•    Successful track record managing finance projects, delivering results aligned with strategic objectives.
•    Strong stakeholders’ management skills
•    Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and data-driven approach
•    Solid communication skills, and fluency in English
