As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Revenue Cycle - IT Liaison, as part of our IT Department reporting to our IT Director. This role will serve as the vital link between our Revenue Cycle and IT Departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to optimize our healthcare operations.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to fill the role of Revenue Cycle - IT Liaison. The successful candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between our Revenue Cycle Department and our IT Team, facilitating effective communication, understanding, and collaboration between the two teams. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring that our revenue cycle processes are efficiently supported by our IT systems and vice versa.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact and liaison between the Revenue Cycle Department and the IT Team.

Collaborate with stakeholders from both departments to understand their needs, requirements, and challenges.

Translate revenue cycle operational requirements into technical specifications for the IT Team.

Communicate IT system updates, enhancements, and issues to the Revenue Cycle Department in a clear and timely manner.

Provide training and support to revenue cycle staff on IT and RC systems, tools, and processes.

Analyze, research, and troubleshoot revenue cycle-related IT issues, working closely with the IT Team to resolve them promptly.

Participate in the implementation and testing of new IT systems or system upgrades related to revenue cycle operations.

Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to revenue cycle management and healthcare IT.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a healthcare revenue cycle environment.

Proficiency with eClinicalWorks Revenue Cycle (R/C) module is required.

Strong IT background with experience in system analysis, implementation, or support preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
