Banner Staffing Services (BSS) offers Registry/Per Diem opportunities within Banner Health. Registry/Per Diem positions are utilized as needed within our facilities. These positions are great way to start your career with Banner Health. As a BSS team member, you are eligible to apply (at any time) as an internal applicant to any regular opportunities within Banner Health. When working per Diem you must work at least 2 shifts a month.

Registry/Per Diem positions do not have guaranteed hours and no medical benefits package is offered. Completion of post-offer Occupational Health physical assessment, drug screen and background check (includes; employment, criminal and education) is required.

As a Home Health Speech Therapist, you will join the Banner Home Health Clinical Team providing exceptional, expert care in your community.  You will enjoy an autonomous practice focusing on functional rehabilitation within the patient’s actual home environment reflective of your patient’s specific needs.  The Home Health environment allows for the time to create relationships with your patients and create your own schedule that is not possible in a hospital setting.  Be part of the Banner Home Health Team focusing on getting patients back to their daily life by providing physical and emotional needs during illness and through recovery. This position will provide 1:1 home care in the East Valley

SCHEDULE:

Training

  • 60 day

  • Working at minimum 1-2 day per week (Days can vary from week to week depending on class schedule.)

  • Monday- Friday

  • 8:00am- 5:00pm

After Training :

  • PRN Position

  • Call Outs/ PTO/ Leave

  • Monday- Friday

  • 8:00am-5:00pm

  • Minimum of 2 shifts per month

POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides screening, evaluation, and rehabilitation services for patients with speech and language disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. This position plans and carries out specialized treatment programs, documents treatment, and maintains data regarding patient care. This position demonstrates the clinical competence and knowledge necessary to provide treatment appropriate to the age of the patients served.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Evaluates patients’ functional abilities and limitations to determine appropriate intervention. Develops a plan of care and treatment goals, as ordered by physician or other referral source.

2. Implements individualized treatment plans that consider patients’ physical, social, spiritual, cultural, educational, and age-specific needs. Ensures that treatment plans are supported by standard practices and/or current literature. Re-evaluates treatment plans, as needed, to ensu
