The Role

As a Financial Services Business Analyst, You will conduct thorough business analysis to understand and document financial services systems, processes, workflows, and challenges and monitor and analyze current state business processes and systems in financial services to identify areas for improvement and potential issues.

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize business requirements for modernizing data and analytics platforms and introducing AI/ML to make current systems and processes more efficient and translate business requirements into clear and concise functional and technical specifications that can be understood by architects, developers and IT teams.

You will design and develop modern Insurance platform and analytics solutions that align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry standards and work closely with architects, developers and IT teams to ensure the effective implementation and testing of future state systems.

Build relationships and trust with senior executives of Insurance customers demonstrating mastery of Insurance domain and provide training and support to end-users on new features and functionalities of modern financial services platforms.

You will stay up-to-date on emerging market, regulatory and technology trends in at least one of Banking, Payments, Capital Markets or Insurance to inform future solution development and support Thought Leadership development, Marketing events and conferences on matters related to the financial services.

If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position $102,390 to $233,450 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.

Who You Are

Technical Skills and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology or a relevant field

• 5+ years of experience as business analyst or a related role, either with a leading Financial Services Institution or with a leading Systems Integrator/Technology Consulting organization that supports Financial Services.

• Possess deep functional knowledge related to business processes or systems related to at least one financial services domain area (Banking, Payments, Capital Markets, Insurance),

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between business and technology teams.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and also as part of a team.

• Ability to travel within US, upto 40% of the time.

Preferred Skills and Expertise:

• Proficient in Business Architecture, preferably Business Capability Modelling.

• Experience with business intelligence and data analytics.

• Understanding of Artificial Intelligence concepts, needs and use cases for Financial Services industry.

• PMP certification.
