We have a clear purpose as an organization: to provide our customers with cutting-edge solutions to help solve their most critical needs.</p> <p> The company generated 2023 revenues of $3.3 billion and is comprised of three distinct segments: </p> <ul> <li><strong>Motion Technologies</strong> ($1.5B revenue) is a global leader in brake pads, shock absorbers and sealing solutions for the automotive and rail markets</li> <li><strong>Industrial Process</strong> ($1.1B revenue) is a global leader in centrifugal and twin-screw pumps for the chemical, energy, mining and industrial markets</li> <li><strong>Connect &amp; Control Technologies</strong> ($0.7B) is a niche player in harsh environment connectors and control components in critical applications for the aerospace, defense and industrial markets.</li> </ul> <p> ITT is headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut with over 10,000 employees in more than 35 countries and sales in approximately 125 countries.</p> <h2>Position Summary</h2> <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Production Planner to be part of our Italian team located in Lainate (MI) and reporting to the European Planning Manager in Germany.</p> <h2>Essential Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Support in management of the production planning/production control areas</li> <li>Support in achievement of process performance and process goals, compliance with the requirements and binding obligations of all parties involved, and optimization of processes in terms of quality, quantity</li> <li>Support in monitoring and achieving goals in the defined area</li> <li>Cause analysis in case deviations and countermeasures</li> <li>Analysis of processes with regard to their added value from KPI perspectives and derivation of improvement measures</li> <li>Coordination, control and support of customer escalations, from procurement to shipping</li> <li>Coordination, control, and support of relocation projects</li> <li>Coordination, control, and optimization of internal and external production areas</li> <li>Reporting - determination and evaluation of production key figures and global key figures</li> <li>Missing parts management</li> <li>Collaboration with global interfaces</li> <li>Active participation in the sales and operations planning process to proactively ensure optimal performance of the entire supply chain</li> <li>Production planning, control, scheduling and coordination across several process stages, taking into account stocks, delivery, throughput and cycle times and the optimal batch size</li> <li>Shared responsibility for rational production geared towards higher productivity</li> <li>Interdisciplinary collaboration in international project team</li> </ul> <h2>Position Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>Completed studies in a relevant field (logistics) or comparable</li> <li>Relevant professional experience in production planning in industry as well as project management experience</li> <li>Several years of professional experience in the SAP environment in an industrial company</li> <li>Knowledge and experience in dealing with the standards relevant to the area of responsibility (e.g. 9001 Quality, 50001 Energy and 14001 Environment)</li> <li>Knowledge of the legal, regulatory and customer-specific requirements of his area of responsibility</li> <li>Deep knowledge of SAP and MS Office</li> <li>Good knowledge of the SAP modules PP and Customizing</li> <li>High IT affinity</li> <li>Independent and structured working attitude</li> <li>Very good language skills in Italian and English, additional language skills are an advantage</li> <li>Strong implementation skills and a pragmatic approach to problems (hands-on mentality)</li> <li>Strong analytical thinking skills</li> <li>High degree of personal responsibility and independence</li> <li>Motivation and teamwork skills</li> <li>Communication and moderation skills</li> </ul>
