The Associate Director, Global Trade is primarily responsible for interpreting, executing, and establishing global trade policies and processes.  They will ensure consistency of customs practices and guidance to operations sites importing across the Mission Systems strategic business unit world-wide. Individual will be encouraged to take on leadership roles within the Customs discipline across Collins.

This role will be performed REMOTE from any Collins Aerospace location either domestic or remote.

What YOU Will Do:

Responsibilities:

  • Drives strategic analysis and planning efforts, while leading multiple programs/projects ensuring adherence to scope and schedules
  • Reviews and presents plans and progress reports to senior/executive leaders
  • Identifies and responds to program problems and leads solutions
  • Builds strong and extensive working relationships and networks internally and externally
  • Leading the Customs team
  • Daily business problem solving
  • Support investigations and reviews of possible GT escapes and disclosures

Qualifications You Must Have:


Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Program and project management skills and experience are preferred
  • Aerospace (program/technical) experience
  • Experience with EMEA regional and national regulations on Customs
