We are seeking to expand our Product Design Engineering team and are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience designing PCB based products and solutions. This position is an excellent opportunity for hard-working, independent, and disciplined Electrical Engineer who has experience developing network and computing appliance to apply their skills toward solving unique, challenging, and complex electrical engineering tasks. We are looking for an experienced, accomplished Electrical Design Engineer to further designs of our industry leading products and solutions. The Electrical Engineer will work across a variety of tasks that are directly involved in engineering, product development, and implementation. The ideal candidate is an inventive problem solver that is capable of working through technical challenges and pragmatic solutions. This role will require working with a tight-knit group of highly skilled engineers to provide design concepts, lead detail design from product inception through final delivery, support test, and quickly respond to any type of issues. The role will require an electrical engineer of many hats that works on a variety of applications.

This position is a hybrid position with the ideal applicant being located near Perry, GA or Washington, D.C.

Requirements

• Ability to evaluate electrical engineering designs and implement product improvements and product modifications.
• Analyze problems, develop, and implement solutions, creating engineering documentation as required.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with the ability to effectively communicate technical issues.
• Ability to learn quickly and work on several projects concurrently.
• Interested in the best and most practical solution, not necessarily the most fascinating one.
• Work independently, but respect deadlines and budgets.
• Work multiple projects concurrently.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to work effectively with all levels and in a team environment and communicate clearly.
• Experience with product design, development, and production is preferred.
• Experienced with thermal design in small electronics appliances is preferred.
• Experience with system integration and testing is preferred.
• Hands on experience troubleshooting of electrical assemblies is preferred.
• Design, develop, and test electrical networking and computing devices and systems, based on x86 Intel processors.
• Design, develop, and test PCB layouts. (Altium and KiCAD)
• Create test engineering plan documentation, testing procedures, and bill of materials documentation.
• Prepare for and participate in design reviews.
• Interface with multidisciplinary engineering groups to coordinate technical requirements and product integrity.
• Assembling and testing networking and computing devices.
• Generate documentation including formal reports, drawings, specifications, proposals, interface controls, and other technical data package items.
