Scheduling and production planning provides essential support to all production activities through the manufacturing schedule and monitor daily and through the month to ensure on time delivery of product to the customers. Manages the planning and establishment of production schedules. This position is primarily responsible for coordinate, plan and expedite the production of the customer orders and provides administrative support to Operations Department. Duties and responsibilities include those listed below with other duties assigned as required.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent work experience
- 2 or more years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in the field of food industry.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, speaks effectively to employees, and writes routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to perform basic math skills including computation of rate, ratio, and percent.
- Software proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. In absence of knowledge related to one or more of the above software systems, must demonstrate ability to learn the needed software system.
- Acknowledge of the ERP system.
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently, (bilingual plus)
- Ability to proficiently and accurately calculate figures, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
- Ability to accurately perform routine data entry in a proficient manner, and data management auditing and review.
- Ability to work within teams in both leadership and supportive roles (project dependent).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
