- The NC/CNC Programmer duties include reading and interpreting design blueprints, programming the CNC machine, and adjusting the machine settings until the desired specs are met. This person will work with the production and quality teams to make sure proper build books are created in a timely manner to meet production needs.
The Manufacturing Engineer duties include responsibility for departmental operations, that can function with some autonomy but guided by established policies. Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, production, quality and cost savings. The job allows modification of procedures if the end results meet standards.Roles and Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:
- CNC Programming
- CAD/CAM experience
- Help develop shop tooling and procedures.
- Work on developing build books.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Work with engineering to improve overall shop process.
- Give hourly EE’s technical guidance.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Lead improvements for equipment reliability, tooling, process controls and safety/ergo solutions.
Develop work instructions & procedures to support operator training and process control.
Required Qualification:
- Associate degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED plus a minimum of 3 years working in a manufacturing environment)
- Minimum 1 year of CNC programming experience
- CAD / CAM experience
Desired Characteristics:
- CNC Programming experience in both traditional and macro, experience in NX CAD/CAM
- Project Management Skills - ability to handle multiple complex situations daily.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Proven Leadership ability
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, initiative, and creativity
- Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, & organizational integration skills
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering or Business
- Green Belt or Black Belt Certification or equivalent Quality certification
