Work Schedule:
100% FTE, 40 hours/week. 8/10-hour day shifts. Hours will include holidays and weekends while in acute care and inpatient rehab rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

We are seeking a Neurologic Physical Therapy Resident to:
Attend and participate in didactic education designed to advance clinical reasoning and pattern recognition in neurologic physical therapy.
Challenge their own and fellow residents’ clinical decision making through constructive feedback in didactic units and case presentations.
Form alliances with patients and their families with the common goal of optimizing function following new and chronic neurologic impairments.
Collaborate with other providers in coordinating patient and family care across multiple services.
Receive and modify practice patterns based on constructive feedback from mentors.
Serve as instructional assistant for the University of Wisconsin Doctor of Physical Therapy neurologic courses.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited, entry-level degree program (Baccalaureate or higher) in Physical Therapy is required. Required
Work Experience
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Wisconsin is required. Required
- Certification in Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automatic External Defibrillator is required. Required
