JOB SUMMARY:

This position is the Company's "management representative" financially responsible for the successful and profitable completion of his/her projects. The project manager is to manage and control the scope of work defined in the project contract documents, as well as the establishment and maintenance of effective professional working relationships with the owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, Inspectors, and peers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, horticulture or other related, or 4 years related field, or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements.

Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in project management, estimating or field management
  • Construction landscape services experience preferred

License or Certification

  • As required by state and federal law
  • Valid driver license issued by the state were employed
  • PM Sills or PMSCP Certification a preferred
  • C-27 a plus
  • OSHA Safety Certificate a plus
  • Certified Construction Manager a plus

Specialized Skills

  • General knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, document management, and cost forecasting.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • General plant, irrigation, construction, and drainage knowledge.

  • General knowledge of material and labor costs.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize job responsibilities.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • English/Spanish training is highly encouraged for this position.
