Elayn Hunt Correctional Center is seeking a dedicated and clinically skilled RN Supervisor A to lead nursing operations within our 64-bed Skilled Nursing Unit (SNU), a Level 1 care facility providing essential medical services to incarcerated individuals with complex health needs. Examples of duties
Three years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR
A bachelor's degree in nursing plus two years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR
A master's degree in nursing or public health plus two years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR
A doctorate in nursing or public health plus one year of experience as a licensed registered nurse.

Job Duties:
- Assumes shift responsibility for patient assignments and care of patients for assigned unit.
- Provides nursing care and utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the provision of direct patient care to Inmates.
- Administers medications and treatments in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conducts nursing assessments via nursing rounds and communicates with the provider regarding the patient's condition to ensure a timely and accurate disposition.
- Initiates and reviews nursing plan of care for all patients and ensures that treatments and therapies specified in the plans are carried out.
