The Operations Coordinator processes and/or reviews more complex transactions of a Human Resources (HR) nature in accordance with the established policies and procedures within the Human Resources Talent Enablement Center (TEC) with limited supervision.  The Operation Coordinator has proven experience and abilities to provide coaching to less experienced team members.
 

Your key responsibilities

  • Respond to internal and external customer needs and inquiries by analyzing the activity and performing necessary and appropriate actions to reach resolution, including non-routine inquiries. Use proven judgment and experience in applying concepts and guidelines; follow through on commitments and take responsibility for results; effectively prioritize assignments; identify and propose solutions for barriers to leadership
  • Process and/or review more complex transactions of a Human Resources nature
  • Perform duties and responsibilities with limited supervision in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Perform detailed reconciliation and balancing of HR transactions.  Escalate questions and/or discrepancies
  • Be proactive in contacting field members of the EY Recruiting or Talent Team, other EY personnel and external parties regarding processing issues as appropriate
  • Assist with special projects as requested
  • Identify and propose solutions on transaction issues to leadership
  • Prepare, contribute and may run reporting as directed
  • Meet production volume and quality standards as outlined by department management

To qualify for the role you must have

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to research, analyze, interpret, and document transactions and issues with minimal supervision, following standard TEC procedures
  • Ability to understand the expectations of customers and deliver service that exceeds customer’s needs within department guidelines
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to anticipate clients’ needs, identifies and resolves issues that impact the delivery of quality service

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Specific knowledge of HR functions preferred
  • Approximately 1-3 years related experience preferred
  • Knowledge and application of immigration related recruitment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business situations
  • Strong presentation, researching, and change management skills
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies extemporaneously

  What we offer   We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $42,300 to $74,500. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $50,800 to $84,600.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
