Job Description

The Senior Security Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing curriculums and courseware that enables cross-functional end-users to understand ServiceNow platform security as part of our Security Belt Program.  

 In addition to designing the learning path and developing the training courses, this role includes gathering requirements to identify strategically aligned learning and development opportunities, collaborating with stakeholders, maximizing the impact and effectiveness of the program, and improving user-experience. The role will also involve building a network of security stakeholders across the organization that will leverage this program. 

 The successful candidate will be a creative, strategic, and resourceful team player with excellent communication skills. They will be a strong team player with the ability to deliver meaningful and engaging training on time in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to learn new products and technologies quickly, as well as having established experience with adult learning principles and course development methodologies.

Qualifications

What you get to do in this role:  

• Manage the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of Cloud Security learning programs from conception through implementation and quality assurance 

• Use technical design, development, and creative skills to create engaging online content, and proactively lead design thinking sessions and recommend new strategies to innovate content development 

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and Business Units to ensure that the development of materials are per required standards and brand guidelines, including accessibility, quality, and sustainability requirements. 

• Modularize the existing training into 5-15m videos using Synthesia software (AI presentation software) 

• Expand the Programs content to meet the needs of stakeholder groups 

• Review and validate feedback monthly and develop a learning path development plan with timelines; prioritize and action urgent changes 

• Present updates and forward plan to stakeholders in the quarterly cross-functional review 

• Manage a scheduled review cadence with stakeholders for existing content to ensure that it remains current and relevant 

• Manage an annual recertification program for existing Black Belts
