Human Resources Entry Level Trainee

Mountain Enterprises Human Resources Trainee will get the unique opportunity to work alongside and get mentorship from the most talented and experienced Human Resources leaders in our industry.  The Human Resources training program includes on-the-job training and the opportunity to earn debt-free career related education at the same time.  You’ll begin your training earning at least 60% of experienced pay while working in the field and earning other industry related training from subject matter experts or nearby third-party accredited institutions.   Upon successful completion of the Human Resources Training Program you’ll be qualified to apply for any available open positions for Human Resources within Mountain Enterprises, Inc. and the CRH North America Materials (AMAT) network.  As a Human Resources trainee, you will learn and assist with New Hire Recruiting and Orientation, Policy Administration, Performance Management and Appraisal, Safety Culture and Administration, and Employee Relations and Engagement. 

 

The Trainee Experience - Earn. Learn. Succeed. 

As a Human Resource Entry Level Trainee, you will have to the opportunity to progress through a series of roles assignments to gain experience, knowledge, and hands-on skills.  Each role assignment offers new skill development opportunities and escalating job responsibilities with demonstrated proficiency.  Additionally, you’ll be provided a combination of on-the-job and third-party training to support skills and trade knowledge development with each role assignment.  The Human Resource  trainee is estimated to be approximately up to 8,000 hours, or up to 4 years, of OJT minus any prior experience credit.  Upon completing the trainee program, you will be qualified to apply for any open Human Resource  positions within Mountain Enterprises, Inc and CRH Americas Materials. 

The Human Resource  Trainee role assignments include: (1) Recruiting/onboarding; (2) Data Entry and Maintenance; (3) Personnel Management and (4) HR assistant functionailities

 

Trainee Qualifications

We are seeking Human Resource trainee applicants who want to learn a career skill set,  have a strong passion for the profession and aspire to be an HR Professional.  Candidates for the position must have the following:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to use Mircosoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to think critically and innovatively.
  • Must be willing to work flexible schedules including: nights, weekends and holidays when necessary.
