Golf Course Technician FT

This position shall perform maintenance tasks relative to the care, maintenance, protection and preservation of any area of the golf course including greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and surrounding out of play areas. These maintenance tasks include mowing, seeding, sodding, aerating, topdressing, irrigation repair, hand-watering, spraying, fertilizing, bunker maintenance, and other related job tasks. They are encouraged to play the golf course on Mondays (course closed) and other times on special occasions to experience the same playability that a member would experience. They are encouraged and expected to make recommendations for improving mowing efficiency and mowing patterns.

Schedule:

M: 6am-4pm

T-F: 6am-12pm

Every other weekend: 6am-10am

Prerequisites:

• Able to operate equipment safely and understand the intended use of that equipment
• Must be in good physical condition and be willing to work outside in inclement weather
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
