Receptionist - Student Life, SC2RCPTSTUDLFE (SU26)
Student Worker Eligibility:
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 
Assist the Student Life office.

  • Answer phones.
  • Respond to inquiries from walk-ins, faculty, general public and students.
  • Sell tickets through the front desk.
  • Monitor the Oasis Lounge.
  • Perform general clerical duties associated with department such as filing, ordering of supplies, mail distribution, and facilities request.
  • Qualifications:

    • Education
      • THIS IS A STUDENT JOB.
      • High school diploma or equivalent.
      • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
      • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.
      • If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
      • If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
    • Experience
      • Self-motivated required.
      • Enjoy working with public required.
      • Good organizational skills and must be detail oriented required.
      • Word processing required.
    • Licenses and Certifications
      • COD Training
        • Compliance Training

      Working Conditions:

    • Phone, fax, computer.
    • Must participate in annual commencement ceremony.
    • Hours: Mon-Fri, between the hours of 8:00 am- 5:00 pm.
    • This student position requires the following test/tests: Background Check.
    • Pay Rate: Student Rate 1 - $15.00 per hour
