Five Below Summer Internship Program is ON! Our limited open positions for Summer 2025 focus on company strategic initiatives in the exciting environment of value-driven, fun-focused retail. We are seeking energetic, responsible go-getters with innovative ideas, ready to actively participate in company initiatives.

We LOVE our interns! Our internship is curated to deliver a rich learning experience for both personal and professional growth. Our program is hands-on, participating in meaningful work that directly effects the company’s success. You are an active contributor and valued as a part of your team!

Location:

In conjunction with WoWToWN’s current Ways of Working, we intend to offer a hybrid program for our interns, ensuring both a flexible and immersive experience. All applicants should plan to be in the Philadelphia area and access to our Home Office throughout the entirety of the program.

Internship Details:

  • 10 weeks:  June 2nd – August 8th

  • Full time – 40 hours/wk

  • Paid – $17/hr

  • Greater Philadelphia location – Hybrid Model - 3 days/week in our Home Office in Old City.

  • Hands on, results driven projects. No coffee fetching here!

Overview:


We’re seeking a dynamic intern for our Planning & Allocations team that will focus on analyzing, improving, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory levels at Five Below stores. The aim is to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock and associated costs, ultimately driving better efficiency bringing product to floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze historical sales, inventory, and customer demand data to identify trends and optimize inventory levels.

Inventory Assessment:

  • Evaluate current inventory practices and identify overstock, understock, and obsolete inventory issues.

New Inventory Review & Management:

  • Review newly added items, ensuring proper setup, categorization, and integration into the inventory system.

Consumables Optimization:

  • Assess and manage consumables inventory across all stores to ensure availability while minimizing excess stock.

Replenishment:

  • Assist in developing replenishment strategies based on sales data to maintain optimal stock levels.

Forecasting & Optimization:

  • Develop demand forecasting models and propose inventory optimization techniques to balance supply and demand.

Implementation & Monitoring:

  • Collaborate with store and supply chain teams to implement changes and track inventory performance post-implementation.

Reporting:

  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through detailed reports and visual presentations.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill.

  • Proficiency with Excel for data analysis.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Requirements:

  • Must be actively enrolled as a rising Junior, Senior, Grad Student or recent Grad in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Merchandising, or related field

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

  • Must be comforta
