Meet the Team

Cisco is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Manager to support strategic priorities across the Data and Business Operations team, helping drive alignment, execution, and operational excellence. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in coordinating cross-functional initiatives, managing project plans, tracking milestones, and ensuring teams have the clarity and structure needed to deliver high-impact outcomes across Strategy, Planning, Operations (SPO) & AI and the broader organization.

Your Impact

As a Project Manager, you will help plan, coordinate, and execute projects that support business priorities and team goals. You will play a key role in keeping work organized, tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring stakeholders have the information they need to make timely decisions. Your contributions will help improve efficiency, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and support successful project delivery.

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, trackers, status reports, and documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, capture action items, track dependencies, and follow up with stakeholders to ensure progress.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, align on priorities, and support project deliverables.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and blockers; escalate appropriately and help drive resolution.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and next steps clearly to team members and leadership.
  • Support process improvements that increase consistency, efficiency, and visibility across projects.
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate, organized, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

You are comfortable managing multiple priorities, coordinating across teams, and keeping projects moving forward. You communicate clearly, pay close attention to detail, and take ownership of follow-through. You are skilled at bringing structure to complex work, identifying potential challenges, and helping teams stay aligned on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completion within the past 3 years, or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months, of a certification or relevant degree program (e.g., Associates, Apprenticeship, Boot Camp, or Certification in a specialized program) + 1 year of relevant experience, High School Diploma + 2 years of relevant experience or Bachelors + 0 years of relevant experience. Relevant fields include; Business, Project Management, Operations, Data, or a related program.
  • Experience developing project plans, tracking progress, and preparing status updates and stakeholder communications.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with common productivity or project management tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects in a large or complex organization.
  • Experience identifying project risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers and helping drive resolution.
  • Experience with process improvement, operational excellence, or business operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and demonstrated follow-through.
