Senior Customer Analyst

Join our sales team as a Senior Customer Analyst driving business through data-driven decisions and serve as the team’s analytic resource. Customer team will include Giant Eagle, Wegmans, Weis, Ingles, Marcs, and Heinens. Identify growth opportunities for clients, build tools to enhance business understanding, and track key performance metrics like sales growth and market share. You’ll manage weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc deliverables while collaborating with the sales team. We’re seeking top talent in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with potential for remote roles in the Eastern U.S or Ohio. Estimated travel is 10%, varying by location.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Analyzing Data - This role involves evaluating Nielsen data with a focus on pricing and promotion. Responsible for identifying key distribution, pricing, and placement opportunities you will play a key role in driving business growth.
- Providing Insights - Work closely with Account Executives, Sales Directors, and Category Management. Together you will review business trends and provide your input on opportunities to improve profit and gross sales volume.
- Joint Business Planning - Partner with the Sales team to maintain business forecasts and track our joint business plan with our retailer partners. Leverage your skills in extracting data from multiple sources. Using these data sources, you will provide a periodic summary of performance against our joint goals and objectives.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Proven experience in data analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced expertise in Excel and experience building PowerPoint presentations.
- Advanced experience and proficiency in syndicated data tools such as Nielsen, IRI, Symphony, Circana & Catalytics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and insights.
- Demonstrated ability to approach problem-solving with a logical, structured, and analytical mindset.
- Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, for data manipulation.
Compensation
The annual salary range is $77,500-$101,700, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
