Position Overview
The Intern, Global Retail Excellence will report to the Manager, Global Clienteling and play a key role in supporting projects and tools that drive our strategy to recruit, retain, and elevate clients.
This individual will assist with our team’s daily activity and collaborate closely with market teams to gather feedback, implement initiatives, roll out global tools and guidelines, and support local priorities.
The ideal candidate will possess a relationship-driven mindset, excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills, as well as a goal-oriented, agile, and hands-on approach.
Location: This position will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters in New York, NY.
Salary: Compensation for this internship will be $25 per hour
Key Accountabilities:
Clienteling Activation
- Partner with Client Development team to drive clienteling activities across all 1-1 touchpoints, ensuring a seamless client journey & ease for our sales teams
- Support clienteling programs, campaigns & messaging
- Help create and distribute clienteling assets
- Support creation of outreach guidance to help champion clienteling behaviors in retail
Market Adoption
- Partner closely with the Client Development team to drive clienteling mindset via ongoing communications
- Contribute to the creation of clear and consistent guidelines to enhance the execution of core clienteling activities across markets
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support in-store client activations and traffic-driving initiatives, including product launches, events, and campaigns
- Gather direct retail feedback to ensure strong alignment and practicality for in-store application
- Visit retail stores to evangelize clienteling practices & provide feedback to strengthen global team understanding of key opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree with related work experience
- Strong interest in luxury retail, client experience, and customer relationship management
- Demonstrated passion for client engagement and understanding consumer behavior
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Project management expertise: multi-tasking, prioritization and organization skills
- Curious, proactive, and resourceful — able to take initiative and propose creative solutions
- Pragmatic and action-oriented
- Flexible and adaptable mindset, with the ability to embrace change and learn quickly
- Comfortable working in a global, multicultural environment
- Impeccable written and oral communication skills
- Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working for agencies or brands in categories where executional excellence is valued (e.g.: Luxury Goods, Beauty, Hospitality)
- Experience in Retail
