PRIMARY PURPOSE:

As a Pool Food Runner, your main role is to provide excellent service to guests by promptly delivering food and beverages to poolside tables. You'll need to ensure courteous and efficient service, describing dishes accurately and answering any questions guests may have.

STARTING RATE: $15.3802 an hour plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Welcome guests with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive first impression

• Maintain adequate stock of plates, condiments, utensils, and cabana fridges to facilitate seamless service

• Execute food plating and delivery with precision and efficiency, adhering to established service protocols

• Coordinate closely with the kitchen and expeditor to expedite food orders promptly and accurately

• Provide comprehensive descriptions of menu items, addressing guest inquiries with clarity and professionalism, staying informed about menu features, changes, and additions, and communicate them effectively to guests

• Ensure precise food placement at designated tables under the guidance of the expeditor

• Fulfill opening and closing side-work duties meticulously to uphold operational standards

• Act as a liaison between guests, kitchen, and management, conveying guest needs and feedback promptly

• Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the dining area and service stations for an optimal guest experience.

• Perform other job-related duties as requested

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

PREFERRED:

• Six (6) months experience in a similar resort setting

• Previous customer service experience

• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
