Responsibilities
- Partner with Design and Software Engineering to design user experiences and technical solutions across feature areas. Identify risks and propose data-based mitigations.
- Influence others to drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria for multiple feature areas across divisions. Also be an expert in identifying long-term investment opportunities and engaging partners to garner support for those feature areas.
- Define a feature set and facilitate senior-level usability reviews with customers. Own the roadmap for multiple feature areas across divisions, and will collaborate with a partner team to build product portfolio and drive scenario walkthroughs.
- Define success criteria and create relationships for implementing multiple feature areas for crucial cross-functional projects.Coordinate, ensure alignment, and gain buy-in across the business.
- Deliver on the multi-year roadmap for multiple feature groups across divisions, lead tracking of project schedules, oversee development of staging and implementation plans, and oversee governance programs.
- Drive continuous improvements by validating use cases and writing text cases from scratch. Provide expertise needed for departments to collect performance metrics, oversee customer support, and define, lead, and mentor others in direct customer engagements.
- Provide expert guidance when working with Software Engineering and Design to design crucial technical solutions across feature areas. Give key stakeholders data-driven recommendations based on identified risks.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 2+ years of experience working with Search related technologies or Online Growth Strategies for large scale consumer businesses
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
