Job Description:

Disney Consumer Products (DCP), a business segment of The Walt Disney Company, extends the Disney brand into merchandise categories including apparel, toys, home décor, publishing, interactive games, food and beverage, stationery, electronics, and animation art.

The Senior Creative Producer – Trading Card Games (TCG) - Project Hire leads the end-to-end production roadmap for trading card games and related accessories across Disney franchises. This role is accountable for partner communication, project management, and cross-functional alignment of brand, character, and thematic narratives and art elements.

Serving as both a project management authority and subject-matter expert, the Senior Creative Producer (PH) translates brand storytelling and creative strategy into market-ready products. The role operates with broad autonomy and significant influence, owning development schedules, reinforcing production processes, and ensuring quality and on-time delivery—without formal people management responsibilities.

This role is a 1-year project hire (PH) position with no guarantee of permanent employment (length of role may change based on business needs). This role will sit onsite in Glendale, CA.

You Will / Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership

  • Lead major TCG initiatives across Disney franchises, reporting to the Director, Global Product Design.

  • Serve as the single source of truth for project status, timelines, risks, and deliverables.

Production Excellence

  • Drive high standards for quality, brand assurance, and impact across all phases of TCG production.

  • Independently manage complex, high-visibility development with significant brand and business impact.

Licensee & Partner Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for licensee producers and development teams.

  • Collaborate on project plans, milestone schedules, submission planning, dependencies, and risk mitigation.

Roadmap & Schedule Ownership

  • Develop and manage full lifecycle project roadmaps, schedules, and quality benchmarks.

  • Ensure alignment with broader portfolio priorities and organizational goals.

Milestone Review & Feedback

  • Evaluate submissions across design, creative, development, and production stages.

  • Synthesize cross-functional stakeholder feedback into clear, actionable direction for licensees.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build and own strong partnerships across internal teams, fostering trust, clarity, and delivery excellence.

  • Navigate ambiguity, drive alignment, and ensure timely decision-making.

Risk Management & Problem Solving

  • Maintain a proactive risk register, identifying and resolving issues early to prevent delays.

  • Drive closure on open items and remove roadblocks to keep projects on track.

Operational Efficiency

  • Identify and implement process improvements to eliminate inefficiencies and optimize workflows.

Team Enablement & Culture

  • Inspire and empower development teams through guidance, feedback, and shared learnings.

  • Contribute to a healthy, transparent, and collaborative team culture focused on realistic goals and continuous improvement.

You Will Have / Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in production or project management.

  • Deep understanding of product development lifecycles, from concept through manufacturing.

  • Proven ability to lead complex projects independently with minimal oversight.

  • Strong creative judgment with a clear point of view and sound decision-making.

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative intent to partners and stakeholders.

  • Highly collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working autonomously on complex initiatives.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

  • Experience influencing without authority and motivating cross-functional teams.

  • Proven experience managing complex projects and defining realistic scope.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
