Position Summary: As a Server/Bartender at Eldora, you will provide friendly and efficient service to guests in a fast-paced, mountain dining environment. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and creating a warm and welcoming experience for guests looking to refuel and relax. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team are essential for this role.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Ensure each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment by greeting and acknowledging every guest, answering commonly asked questions, and moving the guest through the service process promptly.
Be familiar with all products, up-sell items, and give recommendations according to current promotions.
Maintain a professional and personable appearance.
Maintains a clean, organized and safe working environment, while remaining respectful of all guests and employees: includes bussing tables and cleaning up messes as they arise.
Prepares and delivers food and drink to patrons, navigating crowded areas and stairs.
Proper upkeep of outlet; includes following Standard Operating Procedures specific to each outlet, at all times. Stocking stations, preparing outlets for opening and closing.
Engaging with guests, answering inquiries, and providing menu descriptions using suggestive selling techniques to further sales and enhance guest enjoyment.
Accurately ring in all items and adhering to department standards and accounting practices, understanding that failing to accurately record items will result in termination.
Check for customer satisfaction, informing management of potential problems with guests, employees, inventory and equipment.

Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment for self, coworkers, and guests.

This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days. These actions help reduce Scope 3 emissions, lead by example, and ensure adequate parking for our guests.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.
