What does a HR Generalist do at Hogarth?
The People team is focused on providing seamless support to our employees and internal stakeholders across North America. The HR Generalist will play a key role in providing day-to-day HR support, managing HRIS records, ensuring compliance, and assisting with employee programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating positive employee experience with an emphasis of data integrity. There is fantastic opportunity for growth and development for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Employee Lifecycle Support: Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, records management, compensation changes and internal transfers and offboarding.
- HR Escalations: Serve as the day-to-day contact for employee HR issues, addressing concerns promptly, escalating to the SME.
- Technology Optimization: Support the implementation, maintenance and improvement of People tools;BambooHR and people systems, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
- Employee Engagement & Culture: Collaborate with the People team to support operationalizing initiatives such as employee engagement and company culture on site.
- HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies by maintaining up-to-date employee records and assisting with audits.
- Reporting: Assist with the aggregation, preparation and maintenance of HR metrics, reports, and analysis of key performance indicators, such as employee turnover, engagement, and performance metrics.
- HR Point of Contact: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, system navigation and procedures.
- HR Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes for increased efficiency and improved employee experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 4 years of professional human resources work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Calendar and Sharepoint.
- Experience with an HRIS system, ADP and BambooHR preferred
- A process improvement mindset is highly preferred
- Operates with attention to detail, multi-task and collaboration
The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. $90,000 - $110,000
