Barbaricum seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead a diverse team in support of Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Unmanned and Small Combatants division need for research, analysis, systems engineering, and assessments.  The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating program activities, overseeing personnel, and conducting crucial research, analysis, systems engineering, and assessments.This individual will develop, analyze, evaluate, advise on, and improve the effectiveness of work methods and procedures, organizations, manpower utilization, distribution of work assignments, delegations of authority, information and documentation systems, and management controls.

Responsibilities

  • Control expenditures in accordance with budget allocations.
  • Accountable for the overall management of specific task orders and ensure that the technical/financial solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Prepare program reports and confer with staff to explain programs and individual responsibilities for functions and phases of programs.
  • Review reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specific program objectives.
  • Modify methodology as required to redirect activities and attain objectives.
  • Formulate and enforce work standards, assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel, and effectively communicating policies, purposes, and goals.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Active certification in one of the following: Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional OR PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP®)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical or managerial discipline preferred
  • Previous experience supporting unmanned and small combatant projects
