Position Overview
The Senior Analyst supports the FP&A Manager and the operational teams in their development and management of critical financial models and executive-level presentations. This is a highly visible and critical role for the company and is an integral resource for the operational teams. This individual helps the leadership team(s) forecast, budget, and interpret the business results and understand the ‘why’ behind the numbers.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
Coordinate between the Finance team and Marketing team on forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, and other miscellaneous financial reporting:
Variance analysis and communication of financial results for the Marketing team
Partner with the FP&A Manager to provide intelligent commentary on financial results and ensure consistency in the external reporting of key financial analysis
Become a “business partner” for the Marketing teams and build connectivity between Finance and Marketing
Develop and report on specific performance metrics, including the development of independent hypothesis and financial modeling:
Develop and report on specific performance metrics, including, marketing ROI, brand valuation, and Pro-forma market analysis
Financial modeling
Ad hoc financial analysis
Present recommended solutions for process improvements to achieve enhanced financial performance:
Recommend process improvements to achieve enhanced financial performance
Support the continuous development and implementation of strategic and financial planning and analysis projects, best practice, and process improvements
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business and 3 years of related experience required; Master's preferred
5+ years of financial or business analysis experience preferred
Must be able to handle multiple, sometimes competing, priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics and other ERP systems knowledge; SQL a plus
Power BI experience a plus
MS Office Suite experience, with strong skills in Excel
Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex sets of data in a timely and efficient manner
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Commitment to continuous learning and personal development
Ability to work independently and contribute positively in a team environment.
Location Requirement:
This role is located in Tempe, AZ. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs); Fridays are optional remote work days.

Compensation:
$95,000 - DOE
