Finance and Accounting Specialist

This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, loves working with numbers, and is keen on making a significant impact in a growing company.</p><p></p><p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Accounts Payable (AP):</strong></p><ul> <li>Process and verify incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</li> <li>Manage vendor relationships and reconcile vendor statements.</li> <li>Prepare payments for signature and handle payment inquiries. </li> <li>Process bank orders for money transfers, managing accounts in CZK, USD, EUR, and other foreign currencies, including forex transactions.</li> <li>Oversee the creation of bulk payment orders.</li> </ul><p><strong>Accounts Receivable (AR):</strong></p><ul> <li>Generate and send out invoices and manage the incoming cash receipts.</li> <li>Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments and carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.</li> </ul><p><strong>Bookkeeping:</strong></p><ul> <li>Maintain complete sets of financial records, keep track of accounts, and verify the accuracy of procedures used for recording financial transactions.</li> <li>Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger postings.</li> <li>Prepare monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.</li> </ul><p><strong>Payroll:</strong></p><ul><li>Handle payroll duties, such as generating pay slips and completing annual tax settlements.</li></ul><p><strong>Accounting:</strong></p><ul> <li>Oversee all aspects of the financial management, including corporate accounting, budget and variance reporting, regulatory and financial reporting, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.</li> <li>Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings both in Europe and USA.</li> <li>Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li> <li>Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or a similar role.</li> <li>Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).</li> <li>Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Competitive salary and benefits package.</li> <li>A dynamic, supportive, and cooperative work environment.</li> <li>Opportunities for professional growth and development.</li> <li>Flexible working hours.</li> <li>Option for permanent remote work.<br/> </li> </ul><p><strong>How to Apply:</strong> Please send your resume and a cover letter detailing your experience and why you would be a great fit for this role.
