Groundskeeper Equipment Operator

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Maintains landscaping, including lawn care, snow removal of parking lots and walkways, and debris removal.
• Operates heavy equipment such as skid steer, front-end loader, mini-excavator and dozer.
• Performs minor heavy equipment inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Conducts daily safety checks of grounds and reports and/or corrects findings.
• Responsible for minor maintenance of tools and equipment.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:

• Heavy equipment operator certification required or 5 years’ heavy equipment operation experience
• Able to operate various power/hand tools and a plow truck
• Previous experience in landscaping, lawn care and snow removal required
• Must possess a valid, current commercial driver’s license
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a professional work environment
• Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
