We are currently seeking a Industry Consulting Sr. Manager to join our team in Melborne, Victoria (AU-VIC), Australia (AU).

The Department requires 'Subject Matter Expert" services to support business stakeholders undertaking activities relating to the capture and verification of requirements relating to the department's inflight system migration of their key financial system to a new Oracle Cloud platform.

The SME will work directly with business stakeholders and internal delivery teams.

Three services are required. 

1. Business process documentation
2. Requirements documentation
3. User acceptance testing artefact
4. User change documentation

 

Background

The Finance and Procurement Reform Program is about to commence work on transition its budgeting management and payment modelling from an on-prem system to Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud Services. The EPM based solution will support

• Budget management

• Forecast management.

• Forward estimate management

• Payment modelling for health care facilities and payment transaction creation

• Integration with Microsoft Azure SQL and Microsoft Power BI

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, lead and facilitate workshops with relevant stakeholders and technical experts to gather, analyse and model functional requirements and solutions.

· Write Epics, Features and User stories to ensure the team has adequate details to develop the envisioned product.

· Assist the product owner to manage and groom the product backlog by considering purpose, prioritising and organising the stories and ensuring a complete description of the solution.

· Provide expert advice to stakeholders in relation to functional requirements or design implications including cross program implications.

· Perform quality assurance on developed documentation which supports solutions and ensures functional requirements are traceable throughout the project lifecycle.

· Review and evaluate business and systemrelated deliverables prepared by third parties, identify issues and provide clear recommendations for improvement.

· Comply with project operating model and software development life cycle (SDLC) standards and best-practices.

· Provide input to project/system scoping, sizing and estimating activities.

· Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policy requirements
