Job Description

As a Sr. Manager of Talent Management, you are an innovative leader who will lead the charge in revolutionizing our talent programs through cutting-edge, innovative practices. Your role will be pivotal in shaping a high-performing, growth-minded culture that offers employees the best experience of their careers. You will lead and inspire a team to create strategies that give Freshworks a competitive advantage in the talent marketplace to attract, develop and retain the brightest in the industry. Key pillars will include re-imagining the design and ensuring flawless execution of programs across talent management, including performance enablement and employee listening initiatives.  

Key Responsibilities: Use data-driven insights and industry best practices to design, optimize and execute innovative talent management processes in the following areas:

Performance Management:

  • Design and manage the organization’s performance management system, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and drives high performance.

  • Lead the annual performance review process, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and year-end evaluations.

  • Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management best practices, including coaching, feedback, and development planning.

  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement, and make recommendations for enhancing the performance management process.

Employee Listening & Engagement:

  • Lead the development of strategies to leverage new technology and innovative approaches to effectively measure, summarize, and enhance the Freshworks employee experience.

  • Design and implement innovative listening instruments to gather and analyze the employee experience, measure employee engagement, identify opportunities for improvement and generate predictive insights that drive action

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address employee concerns, improve the work environment, and promote a culture of high performance, recognition, inclusivity, and belonging where employees are empowered to do their best work

Change Management:

  • Lead change management efforts related to talent management and innovation initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption across the organization.

  • Partner with internal communications to develop and execute change communication strategies that effectively engage employees and managers.

  • Monitor the impact of change initiatives on employee performance, engagement, and innovation, making adjustments as needed.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR business partners, department heads, and senior leadership.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on talent management, performance management, engagement, innovation, and employee listening strategies.

  • Ensure alignment between talent management initiatives and overall business objectives, with a particular focus on fostering innovation.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience:

  • Proven experience in talent management, human resources, or organizational development.

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing performance management, employee engagement, and innova
