We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Manager, Global Development Communications Operations, to be in Titusville, NJ; Raritan, NJ; New Brunswick, NJ; or Spring House, PA. This is a hybrid position that requires you to be on site three days a week.
Purpose:
The Sr. Manager, GD Communications is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of GD business operations and GD-specific communications within the Business Growth, Innovation and Advocacy (BGIA) team.
The Sr. Manager partners with the Director, Global Development Strategy and Operations, the Sr. Director, GD Strategy & Operations, and the VP, GD Bus Ops and Partnerships to support a holistic internal and GD-specific external communications strategy that supports GD goals and objectives, strengthens culture, and implements key ways of working. This person is accountable for equipping people managers and employees within GD with clear written and live forum communications on topics including business operations updates, goal setting, processes and procedures, and beyond.
The Sr. Manager will draft high-quality, engaging content for various internal channels (Home articles, Viva Engage, newsletters, leadership videos, leadership emails, and other avenues as needed), ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all platforms. This person will also plan and deliver town halls and leadership forums.
This role works to ensure communications and change initiatives move together, ensuring narrative and behavior change land cohesively across the organization.
The Sr. Manager will also contribute to establishing metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives and will be accountable for analyzing data and feedback to continuously improve communication strategies. The role provides additional support to the Director, Global Development Strategy and Operations as needed.
You will be responsible for:
- Draft and produce high-quality, engaging GD-specific content across multiple channels and modern approaches to enable employee engagement and comprehension — inclusive of articles, newsletters, town halls, leadership memos, executive and leader communications (Head-of-GD, SBP cascades, 100-day plans), Viva Engage, and other internal channels as needed.
- Help coordinate the delivery and tracking of GD business communications across all functions in partnership with the Director, Global Development Strategy and Operations; align with Enterprise GCA on macro-level communications when appropriate; manage newsletter development and to facilitate effective delivery of communications.
