The main priorities for the Distribution Analyst (DA) will be providing Strategic Analysis, Standard Reports, Non-Distribution Support, and Communication Assistance for the Central Region, VP Distribution Central and Distributor Partner Managers (DPMs).
Job Description
STRATEGIC ANALYSIS BUSINESS PLANNING
Annual Plans: Analyze preliminary revenue and budget data for VP approval
Active in the Planning Cycle (roll-up, plan-to-actual gap analyses, progress reporting, etc.)
Distributor Partner (DP) Reporting Accuracy Validation (DP performance, live annual business plans, etc.)
Support Region Forecasting
Distribution Cost Budget Analyses
STANDARD REPORTS AND PROCESSES
Invoicing Validation: Accomplishes steps the DPM goes thru currently to validate invoices
Invoicing: Directed to Distributor Partner for clean-up
Standard Reports “Innovator” (re: continuous improvement on standardized reporting e.g., “Chain Performance Tracker”)
On-going Measurement of Phase 1 DP Management Project Results
Canned Reports (defined by Region, DP management project, and team needs)
Execution Reporting for RBNA
Region Reporting (issues to cover, actions required)
SUPPORT OF OTHER FUNCTIONS
Headquarters
National Accounts
All other functions at Region level as needed
COMMUNICATION
Distributor Partner invoicing directly w/ DP finance departments
RBNA payment center
VP weekly updates, preparation for monthly sales meetings
DP Invoice Payables Aging and Problem Status
Qualifications
2+ years’ experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
Experience in Business/Management Consulting and/or CPG products is a plus
Strong customer service aptitude, and ability to work with all levels of the organization from Field Level to Executive Management
Track record of robust analytical and problem solving skills
Proven ability to interpret sales data, analyze results and provide actionable recommendations tied to business strategy
Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker or Power BI
Experience using data manipulation and wrangling tools to prepare unstructured data from multiple sources
Familiarity with data analysis using SQL is a plus
Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $67,240 - $100,860 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
