Title: High School Summer (STW) - Sales Process Optimization 
Dates: Summer 2025
Hours/Week: 32 Hours
Working Days:  Scheduled between Mon-Fri
Location:  301 E Market Street, Indianapolis, IN 
On-site or Remote:  On-site - DBU Indy Headquarters
 

DAILY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing customer data within our sales systems
  • Perform data analysis to streamline records into a mastered account structure based on defined data standards
  • Identify and merge duplicate customer records to prevent data redundancy 
  • Review user data for accuracy and completeness and provide recommendations based on quality audits
  • Support the team in ad-hoc data analysis tasks and projects

CAPSTONE PROJECT 

  • Work with Sales Process Optimization Specialist to design and implement mechanisms to maintain accurate user data records in our sales systems.  Implementation of this process will help maintain reliable information for business operations and ensure data remains clean and accurate as employees change roles and positions within the company.

SKILLS 

  • Proficient computer skills required, to include basic computer navigation, typing, data entry.
  • Keen interest in learning about data analysis techniques and technology
  • Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

 

PROFESSIONAL NETWORK DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES 

Intern will be able to participate in coaching and development within the Global Sales and Service organization and other departments as interested.  There will be opportunities to meet with sponsors from other areas within the organization to learn what they do, and skills required to be successful.  Position will include working with a leader focused on development and corporate responsibility.  Interns will participate in a full calendar of intern events including leadership speaker sessions, corporate responsibility activity, and training.
