Research Associate – Molecular Biology

Tailored to specific needs and desired Target Product Profiles, the experienced team leverages both cutting-edge (e.g., microfluidics, rabbit mass humanization) and state-of-the-art (e.g., phage display libraries) technologies to provide high quality leads against a range of diverse targets.

Position Overview:

To strengthen our Antibody Discovery Team we are looking to fill in-person lab-based position of Research Associate – Molecular Biology

Key responsibilities include:

• Molecular cloning
• Single cell PCR
• Cultivation and manipulation of bacterial cells
• Preparation of material for sequencing
• Protein characterization and quality control
• Antibody production and purification
• Communication of results
• Implementation and documentation of dedicated experiments according to detailed protocols and standard operating procedures as well as contribution to general maintenance of laboratories and equipment

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications and capabilities:

• Qualification as biological/medical assistant or Ba or MSc in biology or related field
• Hands-on experience with molecular cloning, PCR, electrophoresis, bacterial culture and ELISA would be appreciated
• Experience in protein production and purification, mammalian cell culture or other molecular biology techniques is a plus
• Sense of responsibility in regard to experimental work, the team and the mission of AbCheck
• Adaptivity to language requirements. Our team is international, written documents like experimental protocols and records are in English language

Compensation and grade will be adjusted to the experience level of the applicant.
