About the role

We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Financial Analyst position in a hybrid work environment based out of Overland Park, Kansas. To be successful in this role, a candidate will have strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple workstreams. 

Responsibilities 

  • Take a proactive approach to problem-solving and customizing solutions that are scalable
  • Collaborate with internal team members and cross-functional groups to gather strategic insight to enable forward-looking, driver-based modeling
  • Optimize and improve upon current-state reporting processes
  • Assist with driver-based modeling to forecast future results across multiple aspects of the business
  • Analyze financials including comparative analysis of actual results vs. budget/forecast, in consideration of the company’s goals, and communicate findings to various stakeholders across the organization
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed for management and other stakeholders

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or other analytical field preferred 
  • 2-4 years of professional experience
  • Experience with Oracle Planning (EPM) applications as well as experience with in-depth data analysis utilizing tools such as SQL, Alteryx, etc. highly preferred 

Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Possesses the capability to work in ambiguous work settings 
  • Clear communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships
  • Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond  
  • Highly organized & detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills
  • Adaptable to change with a desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to gather and analyze large sets of data from multiple data sources to understand key drivers and provide insights 
  • Works well independently while understanding and supporting the broader goals of the team
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite advanced Excel skills
