MISSION
The ASC Manager is responsible for direction of patient care in the ASC setting. They will manage ASC team members, assist with staff scheduling, and consult with physicians and Area Director on clinical problems to ensure patient needs are met. Additionally, they will coordinate and direct patient care to ensure patients’ needs are met and facility policies and procedures are followed.
OUTCOMES
- Able to comfortably communicate and relate to patients and their families, while providing explanations and reassurances consistently.
- Holds team accountable to meet performance standards designed to drive overall productivity and exceptional patient care, while being willing to assess personal performance and accept feedback from peers and supervisors.
- Effectively collaborate throughout the organization to ensure optimal fiscal stewardship and process improvement, while remaining compliant with regulatory requirements including state, federal, and AAAHC standards, meeting current documentation standards and policies, and serving as the Infection Control Offer and Life Safety Officer.
