Summary of Job Duties:

This UAMS Department of Orthopaedic Hip and Knee Surgeon will be in a Professor position located in NWA and will be responsible for teaching, clinical practice, and conducting innovative research in joint disorders, including but not limited to arthroplasty, joint preservation, and minimally invasive techniques. This position will also involve mentorship of medical students and residents, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in departmental and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

• Valid state medical license as MD or DO
• Must must have completed an ACGME-accredited orthopaedic surgery residency
• Must have completed a hip and knee fellowship training program
• Must be board certified or board eligible, and must be eligible to obtain a permanent Arkansas medical license
