Automotive Warranty Clerk/Booker - Town North Mazda

Snell Motor Company is seeking a Warranty Clerk team member with customer service experience to share their passion for the industry with our internal and external clients. The Warranty Clerk is responsible for processing warranty claims for automotive repairs and services in accordance with manufacturer policies and guidelines. They play a key role in maintaining accurate records, communicating with customers, technicians, and manufacturers to resolve warranty issues promptly and efficiently.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Entails knowledge of service operations from vehicle service reception to client vehicle re-unite.
• Awareness of dealership operations through the entire retail facility thoroughly, department to department
• Involves continually learning and improving customer service skills and interactions.
• Requires maintaining strong interdepartmental relationships.
• Involves being cross trained to various departments as fill-in help as needed.
• Requires filing, scanning and administrative office duties.
• Balancing the cash drawer
• Creating invoices and cashiering the invoices
• Responsible for processing and maintaining the extended warranty schedule.
• Receive and review warranty claims submitted by technicians and service advisors.
• Verify warranty coverage and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
• Enter warranty claims into the computer system and submit claims to the appropriate manufacturer.
• Track the status of warranty claims and follow up on outstanding claims.
